Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital age limit up to 16

The age limit for children being admitted for emergency treatment at Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital has been increased to 16.

The move sees the age restriction raised from 14.

NHS Grampian said Aberdeen was first major children's hospital in Scotland to do so.

Children needing emergency treatment should report to the children's hospital's accident and emergency department.
