Pedestrian 'serious' after being hit by lorry in Aberdeen

A pedestrian has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being knocked down by a lorry in Aberdeen.

The man, believed to be aged about 30, was struck by the HGV in King Street, at its junction with Seaton Place, at about 13:35.

He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by ambulance.

Grampian Police said the road was closed from its junction with the St Machar roundabout to its junction with the Beach Esplanade.
