Crime and mystery festival for Aberdeenshire getting under way
Aberdeenshire's first crime and mystery festival is being held this weekend.
The event - Unsolved - takes place against the atmospheric backdrops of a castle and a stately home.
It opens at Haddo House, by Methlick, on Friday evening and runs until Sunday. Events are also taking place at Fyvie Castle.
A number of Scottish writers will give talks and hold workshops. There will also be screenings of classic crime films.
This festival is a partnership project between the National Trust for Scotland and Public Image Events.
