Relatives of a woman found dead in Elgin have said they will never be able to fill the "huge hole" that has been left in their lives.

The body of Lossiemouth-raised Kim Campbell, 41, was found at High School View in the New Elgin area of the Moray town on Thursday morning.

A 55-year-old man was later arrested.

Relatives said in a statement: "Kim was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She always had a smile on her face."

They added: "She left us far too soon, however we as a family have been left with many happy memories.

"The messages of support we have received from family and friends have been very comforting and we'd like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts at this very difficult time."
