Aberdeen is Scotland's 'growing success', says report

Aberdeen is growing more successfully than almost every other city in the UK, according to new research.

Accountants PwC said Aberdeen performed best in Scotland, and was ranked third from the 36 UK cities surveyed.

The Granite City performed well for jobs, income, health and transport, the environment and households providing for the future with savings.

The top two cities were Oxford, and Reading/Bracknell, which were looked at together.

Mark Higginson, senior partner at PwC in Aberdeen, said: "We truly believe that Aberdeen is a dynamic and forward thinking city, and a great place to live, do business and invest."
