Teenage pedestrian knocked down in Aberdeen

A female pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being knocked down in Aberdeen during rush hour.

The collision with a vehicle happened in Esslemont Avenue at about 08:30.

The female - believed to be 14 - was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Grampian Police, appealing for witnesses, said the road was blocked as a result.
