Unions for Sport Aberdeen staff issue Acas call

Unions opposed to changes to terms and conditions for staff at Sport Aberdeen have asked the conciliation service Acas to get involved.

The charitable trust, which runs swimming pools and leisure centres in the city, is attempting to avoid a £500,000 budget shortfall.

The GMB and Unite unions are now hoping Acas will help resolve the dispute.

Sport Aberdeen said it was waiting to hear the response from all of the workforce to the proposed changes.
