Johnshaven's body discovery: Death of woman 'unexplained'

The death of a woman whose body was found on a beach at Johnshaven is being treated as unexplained.

The discovery was made at about 09.30.

Earlier, coastguard personnel from Stonehaven, Montrose, Arbroath and Carnoustie were searching the coastline, along with two lifeboats from Montrose.

Grampian Police said formal identification would have to take place.
