Sport Aberdeen dispute leads to Acas talks

Proposed changes to terms and conditions for staff at Sport Aberdeen are set to be the focus of talks with the conciliation service Acas.

The Sport Aberdeen charitable trust, which runs swimming pools and leisure centres in the city, is attempting to avoid a £500,000 budget shortfall.

Changes to terms and conditions mainly relate to shift payments for evening and weekend work.

The GMB and Unite unions hope Friday's talks will help resolve the dispute.

The issue has been in the news since January.
