Sport Aberdeen dispute Acas talks break down

Trade unions at Sport Aberdeen are set to ballot for industrial action after talks with management and conciliation service Acas broke down.

The Sport Aberdeen charitable trust, which runs swimming pools and leisure centres in the city, is attempting to avoid a £500,000 budget shortfall.

Unite, Unison and the GMB claim members are being forced to accept unacceptable changes to terms and conditions.

A trust spokesman expressed disappointment.
