Dead man find leads to police probe near Huntly

The unexplained death of a man near Huntly in Aberdeenshire is being investigated by Grampian Police.

His body was found near to the A96 Huntly by-pass on Saturday.

"The death is, meantime, being treated as unexplained," said a statement from the police as they awaited a post-mortem examination.

"A positive line of enquiry is being followed in relation to the identity and police await confirmation that the next of kin have been informed."
