Two dead and two injured in A90 crash

Two people have died and two others have suffered serious injuries in a crash on the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road.

The collision between two cars happened on the northbound carriageway, south of Fordoun, just after 16:00.

The casualties had to be cut free from the cars, a silver Vauxhall Astra Estate and a black SAAB 93 Estate.

The road is closed northbound and diversions are in place.
