Donald Trump golf project petition goes to Holyrood
An 11,000-signature petition calling for a public inquiry into the handling of Donald Trump's golf project in Aberdeenshire has been lodged with the Scottish Parliament.
Local protestor David Milne organised the petition - launched on 14 February - which described the planning process as a "systematic failure".
He has submitted the signatures to Holyrood's public petitions committee.
Trump International Golf Links said the project went through years of scrutiny.
The Trump Organisation hopes to build an 18-hole course to the south of the existing course at Menie, north of Aberdeen.
The second course would be named The Mary MacLeod Course, after Mr Trump's Scottish-born mother.
