Woman treated after Aberdeen house fire

A woman was treated for smoke inhalation after a fire in Aberdeen.

Several units of Grampian Fire and Rescue Service were called to Montrose Drive, in Garthdee, shortly before 14:45.

No-one needed hospital treatment as a result of the incident.

A Grampian Police spokesperson told the BBC Scotland news website that a joint investigation into the cause of the fire was expected to be carried out.
