Acas talks in bid to resolve Sport Aberdeen dispute

Union officials are set to meet with conciliation service Acas in a bid to prevent strike action disrupting sports centres and swimming pools across Aberdeen.

Walkouts are due to take place this weekend at facilities operated by the Sport Aberdeen charitable trust.

The row is over proposed changes to staff terms and conditions.

Management at Sport Aberdeen say the changes are necessary to help claw back a £500,000 budget shortfall.
