Police return to Kyle Allan crane death crash scene in Aberdeen

Kyle Allan Kyle Allan died in hospital in Aberdeen on Tuesday evening

Police investigating the death of a boy after his bike and a crane crashed in Aberdeen have returned to the scene to carry out tests.

Eight-year-old Kyle Allan died on Tuesday night after the accident on Great Northern Road, close to the Haudagain roundabout.

Police said collision investigators were at the scene from 10:30 until 11:00.

They thanked members of the public for their understanding about disruption.

Kyle's parents described him as a "ray of sunshine".

Police have appealed for witnesses.
