Man facing Aberdeenshire rape and MCAT drugs trial

A man has gone on trial accused of supplying teenagers with a drug and raping a schoolgirl in an Aberdeenshire town.

David Young, 30, of Hopeman, is alleged to have given alcohol to three teenagers under the age of 18 at a park in July 2011.

He is further accused of supplying the drug MCAT to two of the girls and a young woman.

Mr Young also faces a rape charge at the High Court in Aberdeen.
