Liam Cromwell in court over Lerwick injured man

A man has appeared in court charged with assault to the danger of life after an incident in Shetland.

A man was badly injured in Burns Walk in the centre of Lerwick between 02:00 and 02:45 on Saturday.

Liam Cromwell, 20, made no plea or declaration at the town's sheriff court.

He was remanded in custody and is expected to reappear in court next Tuesday.
