Operation Maple officers arrest 15 people in Aberdeen

Police have arrested 15 people in Aberdeen as part of the ongoing Operation Maple.

Officers executed drug search warrants across the city including in Kincorth, Torry, Seaton, Mastrick and the city centre on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Six people were arrested in connection with drugs.

And nine people were arrested in connection with apprehension warrants linked to crimes of violence and public disorder.

Operation Maple was launched in October 2010 and has seen a total of almost £1.2m of drugs seized and about 600 people arrested.
