A man has admitted spray-painting Aberdeen City Council's historic Marischal College headquarters.

Christian Weir, 23, wrote "Ye Have Not Yet Done What Ye Ought" in June, and the graffiti was successfully removed in August.

The building had become the local authority's new base in 2011.

Weir also admitted attacks on the council's Town House, the Union Square shopping centre and a bank in the city's Old Aberdeen area.

Sentence was deferred for reports and to allow the Crown to find out the exact cost of repairing the damage.
