Police arrest another man over cash machine attacks

Police have arrested another man in Liverpool in connection with attempted break-ins on cash machines in the north east of Scotland.

A 35-year-old man was arrested on Friday after detectives from Police Scotland raided addresses in the city.

The man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.

Two weeks ago, a 30-year-old man from the Liverpool area was arrested in connection with a spate of raids on cash machines in Aberdeenshire.

He was charged over incidents in Inverurie, Stonehaven and Ellon, and the theft of two cars.
