Return of snow and ice in north east of Scotland and Northern Isles
Snow and ice caused problems for commuters in the north east of Scotland and Northern Isles, with several accidents reported.
Gritters were out on the major routes overnight.
No roads were closed, but Police Scotland warned drivers about the dangers of snow and ice, and Aberdeenshire Council had some school transport issues.
Aberdeen International Airport reported delays to some flights.
Passengers were advised to check with airlines.
There were also been snowfalls over the Highlands, but no reports of disruption to travel.
