Aberdeen City Council to debate 'tensions' report from Audit Scotland

A report which is critical of the way Aberdeen City Council does business is set to be debated.

An Audit Scotland study said political tensions were affecting the decision-making process.

The report found members were often "disrespectful" and many meetings at the local authority could be lengthy.

The audit and risk committee will be told of claims the Labour-led authority had suffered a deterioration in performance.
