A man who admitted spray-painting Aberdeen City Council's historic Marischal College headquarters must wait to learn his fate.

Christian Weir, 23, wrote "Ye Have Not Yet Done What Ye Ought" in June, and the graffiti was successfully removed in August.

The building had become the local authority's new base in 2011.

He was due to be sentenced at Aberdeen Sheriff Court, but the case was further deferred.

Weir earlier also admitted attacks on the council's Town House, the Union Square shopping centre and a bank in the city's Old Aberdeen area.
