Save Our Libraries Moray: Legal action dropped

Campaigners have dropped their planned legal action against Moray Council's library closures.

Council members had voted 13 to 12 to reprieve Cullen, Burghead and Dufftown but to close Hopeman, Portknockie, Findochty and Rothes.

Save Our Libraries Moray said there were legal grounds for a judicial review, but the issues and costs were unclear.

The cuts were aimed at saving £350,000.
