Two hundred jobs could be created in Aberdeen after planning permission for a new riverside office development was approved.

The £5m four-storey development will be on South Esplanade West.

Developers Robertson Property said "strong interest in this quality project" was expected.

It is to be named Grainger House, in honour of Olympic gold medal winning rower Katherine Grainger, who trained on the River Dee.

Grainger - a silver medallist at three previous Olympic Games - triumphed in the women's double scull with Anna Watkins in the London 2012 Olympics.
