Sport Aberdeen concerns raised by auditors PwC

An independent audit of the body which runs the bulk of Aberdeen's sports centres and swimming pools has highlighted concerns over how it sets its budgets.

The review of Sport Aberdeen by accountants PwC was ordered by the city council.

The audit examined budgeting and financial planning.

Sport Aberdeen and Aberdeen City Council said progress has been made since the audit.

The report recognised the trust was going through staffing restructures and consultation with unions during the relevant period.
