Seven held over £695,000 cocaine haul in Peterculter

Seven people have been arrested after cocaine with an estimated street value of almost £700,000 was seized in the Aberdeen suburb of Peterculter.

Two women aged 19 and five men aged 21, 22, 23, 24 and 27 were held after a raid on Thursday.

The drugs were said to be worth about £695,000. Det Insp Douglas Norrie said: "This recovery is significant."

The seven people arrested were expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Friday.
