Aberdeen's involvement in World War One is being explored in a major new exhibition in the city.

Aberdeen's War at the Art Gallery has drawn on some of its own collections, with sketches and photographs from internationally-renowned war artist artist James McBey.

It also includes letters written by local soldiers from the frontline to home.

The exhibition runs for the rest of the year.
