Man, 72, airlifted after being hit by car in Aberdeenshire

A 72-year-old man was airlifted to hospital with multiple injuries after he was hit by a car in Aberdeenshire.

The accident took place on the B9001 between Forgue and Largue at about 19:00 on Thursday.

The man suffered two broken legs and a broken pelvis.

He was flown to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
