Sacked Aberdeen Royal Infirmary photos worker in theft probe

A member of Aberdeen Royal Infirmary nursing staff sacked after posing for pictures in underwear said to belong to a dead patient is being investigated over theft allegations.

James John Turner, a nursing auxiliary in an acute geriatric ward, lost his job after the Scottish Sun printed the photos.

Police Scotland said an investigation into alleged thefts was ongoing.

NHS Grampian said on Thursday that Mr Turner was no longer an employee.
