Bucksburn Care Home in Aberdeen graded 'weak'

A care home in Aberdeen has been told it must make improvements after being labelled weak for the second consecutive time.

The Care Inspectorate made an unannounced visit to the Bucksburn Care Home.

Inspectors found "important weaknesses" in how health needs were being met.

A fall in care standards since the previous visit was noted. Various improvements were called for, including more training.

The inspectorate said the service had a new manager and nursing team who were experienced and wanted to improve care standards, but it would take time for the new staff to get to know the residents.
