Two men jailed over Shetland heroin supply

Two men who admitted being involved in bringing heroin worth thousands of pounds into Shetland have been jailed.

James Kennedy, 29, and Greg Lawrie, 25, were jailed for four years and two months and two years and six months respectively.

The pair were arrested in May when police searched an address in Lerwick's Hill Grind.

Sheriff Philip Mann told Lerwick Sheriff Court the sentences had been reduced due to the guilty pleas.
