Seven people injured in two crashes in Inverurie and Aberdeen

Six people including a child have been taken to hospital after a crash between two vehicles in Aberdeenshire.

One man was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after the accident near Inverurie at about 11:25 on Sunday morning.

Another man, three women and a child were taken to hospital by road.

In a separate accident in Aberdeen a cyclist was badly injured in a collision with a car.

The accident happened on North Anderson Drive on Sunday afternoon. The road was closed for police to carry out investigation work.
