Biker injured near Alex Salmond campaign trail in Aberdeen

A motorbike rider has been injured in an accident in Aberdeen close to where Alex Salmond was campaigning for the Scottish independence referendum.

The female biker was tended to by some of Mr Salmond's security team.

She suffered what were described as non life-threatening injuries.

The "Yes" campaign was on Victoria Street in Dyce when the accident happened. It is understood Mr Salmond did not witness the crash.
