Woman charged after Aberdeen dog bite incident

A woman has been charged with assault after an incident in Aberdeen where another woman was bitten by a dog.

A 29-year-old woman was taken to hospital with leg injuries after the incident in the Great Northern Road area, near the Haudagain roundabout, on Monday.

Police Scotland said a 31-year-old woman had been charged with assault.

It is understood the 29-year-old woman injured by the dog was its owner.
