Henry McPherson named as man who died in A952 crash

A 61-year-old man who died in a two-car crash in Aberdeenshire has been named by police.

Henry McPherson, from the St Fergus area, died after the crash on the A952 Clola to Toll of Birness Road, near Mintlaw, on Friday night.

Mr McPherson, who was known as Harry, was the driver of a grey Vauxhall Corsa which was in collision with a blue Ford Focus C-Max.

Two women were also badly injured in the crash.
