Man dies in Aberdeenshire crash near Fraserburgh

A 71-year-old man has died following a crash on the A90 road between Lonmay and Fraserburgh in Aberdeenshire.

The emergency services were called out after reports that two vehicles had collided at about 15:20.

Police said the road remained closed on Thursday evening, at the junction of the B9032 to Memsie and at the Tesco roundabout.

Specialist investigators were examining the crash site. Local diversions were put in place.
