Bid to identify man badly hurt after fall in Aberdeen

Police are trying to identify a man who was found lying badly injured on an Aberdeen road following a fall.

The man was found on Denburn Road at about 07:35 on Friday.

He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in a critical condition.

The man is described as being aged about 50, about 5ft 8in tall, of medium-to-large build. He has short, light grey hair which is balding on top.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a khaki-coloured jacket, black woollen jumper, a black shirt with thin white and grey stripes, blue denim jeans, white sports socks and trainers.

Police said they were not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.

Anyone with any information about the man, or who may have seen someone fitting his description in or near the area at the time of the incident, should contact police.
