Sickness bug shuts Skene Square School in Aberdeen

An Aberdeen primary school has been closed due to a sickness bug.

A large number of staff and pupils at Skene Square have been affected.

The school and nursery have been closed to allow a deep clean to be carried out, in a bid to minimise the further spread of infection.

The school's head teacher has apologised for the short notice of the closure.
