Snow and ice have continued to cause problems for commuters across the north east of Scotland.

A 29-year-old gritter driver died after his vehicle overturned on the A90 at the Bogindollo junction between Forfar and Brechin.

Several buses got stuck on Scotstown Road in Aberdeen, causing serious delays.

Transport to several Aberdeenshire schools was affected, and some were closed.
