Drug runner with infant in car jailed for 40 months

A cocaine dealer caught on a drugs run with his infant daughter in the car has been jailed for 40 months.

Steven Gribble, 32, of Aberdeen, dumped cocaine worth thousands of pounds after being signalled to stop by police north of Turriff.

It happened just weeks after he was freed on bail on drugs charges.

Gribble admitted being concerned in the supply of drugs between June and August last year, and also in October. He was jailed at the High Court in Edinburgh.

Lord Brailsford told him that he would have faced a five-year jail sentence if not for his early guilty pleas.
