Joshua Aryeetey named as fisherman who died after Shetland sea fall
A fisherman who died after falling into the sea about 20 miles west of Shetland has been named.
Joshua Aryeetey, 47, from Ghana, was on board the Banff-registered Beryl fishing boat when the incident happened on Tuesday.
The crew of the nearby offshore supply ship Caledonian Victory managed to recover him from the water.
He was then transferred by coastguard helicopter to Gilbert Bain Hospital in Lerwick, but could not be saved.
Police Scotland said a report would be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
