Richard Brown in court over Aberdeen heroin seizure

A man has appeared in court after heroin with a street value of more than £80,000 was recovered in Aberdeen.

Richard Brown, 32, of no fixed abode, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.

He made no plea or declaration and was granted bail.

The drugs were seized in the Guild Street area of the city on Sunday as part of the Operation Maple campaign, which has been running since 2010.
