New Aberdour manure letterbox incident man fined

A man who sprayed liquid manure through his former neighbour's letterbox following a row has been fined.

Stewart Reid, 62, of Portknockie, admitted the New Aberdour incident at Peterhead Sheriff Court.

First offender Reid admitted acting in a threatening or abusive manner, and being in possession of a blade in a public place.

Sheriff Andrew Miller said the case was "quite unusual" and fined him £700.

He was also ordered to pay the victim £200 for the resulting clean-up.
