Aberdeen carer jailed for six months over theft

An Aberdeen carer who stole hundreds of pounds from a severely disabled man has been jailed.

Carol Donald, 49, withdrew money from Terrence Farr's bank account.

Donald admitted stealing £900 from Mr Farr, who suffers from spina bifida and epilepsy, in January and February last year.

She was jailed for six months at Aberdeen Sheriff Court, where Sheriff Graeme Buchanan said the theft was a "gross breach of trust".
