An Aberdeenshire care home is to close after its owners decided it was no longer financially viable.

Renaissance Care said it had difficulty in finding staff to work at Glenesk House, near Turriff, and it was too expensive to rely on agency workers.

Renaissance said it was working with local councils and the Care Inspectorate to find new accommodation for 20 residents.

Glenesk will remain open until all residents have been re-homed.
