Men charged over 106mph and 96mph driving on A952

Two men have been charged over allegations of driving at 106mph and 96mph of a stretch of road in Aberdeenshire with a 60mph limit.

Police Scotland said the men, aged 21 and 19, were clocked on the A952 Toll of Birness to Fraserburgh road.

They were stopped in separate incidents on Tuesday,

Sgt Rob Warnock said: "The A952 Toll of Birness to Fraserburgh road has had a number of fatal and serious collisions over the last year."
