Appeal following assault in Aberdeen

Police have appealed for information after a man was assaulted in Aberdeen.

The incident happened in the city's Stafford Street at about 15:40 on Monday.

The 32-year-old man was treated for his injuries at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Police Scotland said officers wanted to speak to the occupants of a light-coloured sports car seen in the area at the time, as they may have useful information.
