Drivers reported for 100mph speeding

Three motorists were recorded driving at more than 100mph on Aberdeenshire roads during a police clampdown.

Police Scotland said a man was recorded at 106mph in a 70mph limit on the A90 Aberdeen to Ellon road near Blackdog.

And two men were stopped in separate incidents on Saturday driving at 103mph and 101mph on a 60mph speed limit area of the A96 Inverurie to Huntly road.

The speed checks were part of the ongoing Operation Cedar - Challenge, Educate, Detect and Reduce.
